ABOUT MVP 2020 BOYS CAMP!

MVP – Celebrating our 12th Record Breaking Year!

MVP, the premier Jewish Orthodox Basketball Camp located at beautiful Camp Seneca Lake, under the direction of Irv Bader and Judah & Carol Rhine, is celebrating its 12th Anniversary Season. MVP Boys Basketball Camp is looking forward once again to another record breaking registration and enrollment.

Over the course of the 5 day camp, MVP emphasizes to its campers, the fundamentals of the game through clinics, drills, and skills competitions. We offer and stress the importance of individual as well as team growth.

The jam packed daily schedule features instruction and clinics, league games by division, as well as 3 on 3, 2 on 2, 1 on 1 contests, and the much anticipated annual MVP Endurance Challenge for the senior division.

MVP has an experienced Staff along with Guest Instructors. Counselors/Coaches are former Yeshiva League players and former MVP campers who share their experiences with the current MVP campers. There is an EMT on staff during MVP.

The grounds and facilities at Camp Seneca Lake are second to none. All bunks are air conditioned. The 3 daily minyanim take place in the air conditioned Shul. Facilities include the new Seneca Center Dome, special MVP courts, the favorite Seneca Park with stadium seating, all lit for night play, in addition to other outdoor and indoor courts. MVP campers enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools featuring the GIANT Seneca Slide and a poolside hot tub Jacuzzi. Delicious and gourmet Glatt Kosher meals are served in the air conditioned dining room. MVP is a nut free camp.

Every afternoon, the line starts forming after lunch at the Seneca Sprinkles Ice Cream Parlor, which is open to all. Following exciting night games and individual skills competitions, the famous MVP nighttime BBQs take place at the brand new state of the art Canteen. The BBQs give all the MVP players across all the divisions and schools the opportunity to meet and interact with each other.

On the final day of MVP, the Championship Games for each division take place. Following the games and lunch, the 5 days of MVP culminate in the annual closing Awards ceremony, where over 100 Trophies are distributed to champions from all the many Competitions that took place during the course of the week, including the MVP awards to the MVP’s of each of the league divisions.

Each MVP Player will receive a reversible MVP Jersey – this year it will feature the MVP anniversary logo. In addition, before boarding the buses home, every MVP Player will receive a new 2020 Klipped Kippah, and a special surprise!
